Why do you need the information you ask for on the registration form?
In order to support our global event delivery it is critical we can identify our participants in order to be able to assign results to an individual as well as provide every participant with an additional performance insight. There are other reasons for collecting information on participants, that can be found in our Privacy Policy outlining why we ask for specific information on the registration form.
What happens once I have registered?
Shortly after you have submitted the form you will receive a confirmation email. Please read this email carefully, it contains further instructions and a link to print or download your barcode.
I haven't received my registration email
If you haven’t received a confirmation email, there may be several reasons for this and we would suggest you try the following:
- Check your spam/junk/trash folders and mark emails from parkrun as safe/trusted/not spam. We have particular problems with the large webmail providers (yahoo, hotmail etc).
- If you collect your email using a mail program rather than logging into a website (eg. outlook or a phone client) spam may only be visible if you log into the webmail account. You need to log into your email's web interface to see the spam folder. It may take up to 24 hours for the email to come through. Please be patient. If you have still not received your email after this time you may have entered the wrong email address. Please get in touch via our contact form.
Am I already registered?
- Search your email accounts for your parkrun registration confirmation email, a parkrun newsletter or parkrun results email. These contain a link to your profile.
- You can visit parkrun.com/resetpassword and enter the email address you used to register.
If this email address is on record then a password reset email will be sent to you (please note that we send an email to every parkrunner that shares the same email address).
If we cannot find your email address then please get in touch via our contact form.
