While some of our courses may not be suitable for wheelchair users, we do our best to make them as accessible as possible. We also leave it to the discretion of the specific wheelchair user to determine whether they feel any particular venue is suitable.
We would therefore advise you to contact the event team in advance in order to discuss the accessibility and terrain of the specific course. Every event team can be contacted directly via the email address at the bottom of their web page.
If you are unable to propel yourself independently, due to a long-term or permanent condition, you are still welcome to register as a parkrunner and be pushed around the course (or use a motorised chair) and receive a time. This does not extend to short-term conditions or injured able-bodied participants.
Wheelchair participants can contact Head Office if they wish to have their parkrun profile marked accordingly, and would thereafter appear as a wheelchair athlete (MWC or WWC) in the results.
Please note that hand cycles are not permitted at parkrun events.
Please refer any enquiries about RaceRunners to Head Office for us to consider on a case by case basis.
